GLIN LIBRARY: Now that we are into a brand new year there is an opportunity for anybody to exhibit any art or crafts within the library at any time.  Ring 068 26910 if interested.  All welcome to the library at any time.  This is one of the few free services available to all so take advantage of it. Internet access free also.

ST FERGUS NATIONAL SCHOOL: are currently working on their second Green Flag.  The theme is ENERGY.  We have begun a SWITCH IT OFF campaign.  You can get involved at home too.  Tips: 1) A TV in standby mode can use up to half as much energy when it is switched on.  Save energy by switching appliances off.  2) Keep doors closed in your home to prevent heat loss.  3) Turn the thermostat down by 1 degree to save up to E15 per year.  4) At night, close blinds and curtains to prevent heat loss.  Let’s be Energy Efficient!
