Womens Workshops Continuing in Listowel: Blue Sky Events will continue their series of ‘Just Mise’ women’s workshops in the Listowel Arms Hotel on the 21st May with ‘Give Your Health A Boost’. This will be followed on 4th June with ‘Everyday Gorgeous Hair & Makeup’ and on the 11th June with ‘Stop Worrying, Start Living’! €15 per session. Come along for a very enjoyable few hours. Glin Development Association: is organising a clean-up of the town and approach roads in preparation for the Tidy Towns Competition. This clean-up will take place on Wednesday evening, 4th June at 7.30 p.m., meeting in the town park. Please get involved in this very worthwhile event for our town. Gloves & bags will be available for all volunteers.

The Foynes 5km Run: will take place on Sunday 1st June at 12. Registration from 10am to 11.30 am. 5k Run: €12. 4k Walk: €5. Families welcome!
Knockpatrick Gardens, Foynes Open Week: Sunday 1st June to Sunday 8th June from 2pm to 6pm. Admission €5. Situated off the N69 on the Limerick side of Foynes.
All proceeds from both the above mentioned events go to TLC4CF, (Tipperary, Limerick & Clare for Cystic Fibrosis).
Notice to Musicians and Parents: The end of year concert for all musicians will take place on Saturday 24th May at 8pm in Ceol Corbrai. This is a great chance for family and friends to hear first-hand the musicians perform what they have learned throughout the year. We would like to thank everyone for their support this year and look forward to next year’s classes starting in September.

Tarbert Comprehensive School is celebrating its 40th Anniversary: As part of our celebrations we are having a service at the school on Tuesday 27th May at 7.30 pm. The Most Reverend Ray Browne, Bishop of Kerry and The Right Reverend Trevor Russell Williams, Bishop of Limerick Killaloe & Ardfert will officiate.
