Glin Red Cross Defibrillator No: 0876230032

Death: The death took place in the U.S. of John (Sean) Foley, formerly of Glin, after a long illness, bravely borne.  A memorial Mass is due to take place on Monday January 12th at 7pm in Mary Immaculate Church, Glin on what would have been his 63rd Birthday. May he rest in peace.

Glin Baby & Toddler Group every Thursday morning from 10am to 12 noon in Coel Corbrai Hall. €3 per family. Tea/coffee/juice/biscuits & toast provided. All welcome

Good Luck: “The Voice of Ireland; Don’t forget to tune in to  RTE 1 television on Sunday evening @ 6.30, to see local contestant Laura Enright perform for the Coaches in The Voice”.  We wish her the best of luck.

Thank You: to Paddy Reidy for his generosity in donating the Christmas Tree in the Square.  We all appreciate the hard work putting up the Tree every year.  Thanks also to Jim Lynch and his colleagues.  A big Thank You also to Colm Ryan for doing such a wonderful with the lights.  We were reminded of the real meaning of Christmas by Mary O Connor Bray who displayed the Nativity Scene at the Library.

Ceol Corbrai Classes: Tuesday at 7.00 p.m. Irish Dancing Classes with Bobby and Mary Kelly.  Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. Taekwondo with Sara Dillon.  Wednesday at 6.00 p.m. Irish Music Classes with Willie Larkin (please note the change in the day). Thursdays at 10 a.m. to 12 noon Toddlers Playgroup

Glin GAA AGM: will be held next Friday night the 16th January at 8.30 p.m. in the Clubhouse.

Health & Fitness: Classes take place on Mondays from 8.00 to 9.00 p.m. in Ceol Corbrai Community Hall.  Price €8 pay as you go or €25 for 4 consecutive sessions.  Personal training €30 per hour or €100 for 4 sessions.  If interested, please call Colm on 0851111617.
