Team Limerick Clean-Up: Good Friday, April 3rd, 11 o’clock at Town Park, Glin. As part of the Team Limerick Clean-up, Glin Development Association are calling on all parishioners, both young and old to help with a parish clean-up over the Easter Holidays. We have acquired rubbish bags, pickers, gloves and hi-vis vests to suit all ages and we are hoping to get volunteers from all over the parish to join with us in cleaning up the highways and byways of Glin. The roadsides are in need of particular attention and hopefully we can encourage parishioners to clean up a stretch of road in their area. We will announce a designated ‘dropping area’ for the rubbish in due course. All necessary equipment for the Team Limerick Clean-up will be handed out at the Town Park on Good Friday at 11 o’clock or you can collect your rubbish bags, gloves and hi-vis vests from Peg at the Library on Wed. or Thurs. of next week. Limerick County Council have supplied us with children sized gloves and hi-vis vests for the clean-up. We would appeal to parents to encourage and accompany their children to join with the rest of the parish in this monster clean up on Good Friday at 11 o’clock. Ní neart go cur le cheile!
