Glin Library

An article in Saturday’s edition of Irish Times informs us that Tom Wall, former student in Glin Industrial School, is donating historical documents from Glin Industrial School to the Department of History in the University of Limerick. This is a rare collection of papers together with lots of photographs and UL is delighted to receive them and house them in the library.

Recently a monument was erected in Glin in memory of the boys who attended the Industrial School. Tom’s interesting book “The Boy from Glin Industrial School” is available in all bookshops and from the library.

Glin Library will be closed on Good Friday. Wishing a Happy Easter to all.
