The Parents Association of St. Fergus N.S have placed collection buckets around local shops within the village. Any spare change you may have would be greatly appreciated. All money received this year will go towards much needed maths and science equipment. Last years collection buckets proved a huge success and helped towards the purchase of English literature for 3rd/4th/5th & 6th class. As with all our past and present fund raising events the generosity and support from the parish does not go unnoticed.
Glin Library: Following on from the 10th birthday celebrations there is a display in Glin Library of Art from the children of Ballyguiltenane and Glin which they did for the Fleadh last May. It is a lovely colourful display. Now that the Races and Ploughing and Coursing is over it is a good time to visit the library and start off your winter reading. All welcome.
