Glin Development Association AGM:  was held on 10th November last. There was a good turn out on the night and a committee was elected for the coming year.   Lots of topics were discussed including upcoming Christmas Concert at Glin Church, upcoming Church Gate collection to raise funds for Christmas lights, upkeep of town park, results of Tidy Towns 2015 and other topics. Glin has come up 5 points in the Tidy Towns competition and this is all down to the commitment and hard work of all the RRS employees and also the people of Glin parish who worked hard to keep their area and properties looking clean and cared for.  Glin was also awarded €1000 prize for Limerick in Bloom competition. Well done Glin!   We hope to start the initiative early in 2016 and have everyone on board to have our beautiful Glin looking clean, painted and pretty.  Glin is a fabulous scenic village with a great community spirit and of that we can be very proud.

With the dark winter evenings setting in, it is advisable to wear your Visibility vests when out walking. They can be obtained free from the RSA. BE SAFE BE SEEN.
