Clean Coast / Glantachán 14/5/2016 @11

Glin’s ‘Coastal Clean’ is an initiative scheduled for Saturday 14th May. This is an annual event to clear our coastline of debris and litter. This year it is sponsored by Coca Cola. This will take in the Glin shore line from Long Rock to the end of the path on the Tarbert Road. All Tidy Town volunteers who are available, please come to the meeting point in the Town Park at 11 am. If there are a surplus of volunteers, we could do a litter pick of black-spot areas around Glin. Bags and gloves will be provided. Looking forward to a good turnout on the day. All are welcome, especially the younger generation. Please pass the word around. Together, we can protect our beaches, seas and marine life. Check out, Glin Tidy Towns Facebook page and for more details.
