Gaa

Cúl Camps
The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps for primary school children are being held in the Glin GAA field from 18th to 22nd of July,10am to 2.30pm, and are reasonably priced at €55 per child. It’s a great opportunity to learn the skills of Gaelic Football from trained Limerick GAA coaches and have fun at the same time!

Junior B
Our Junior B team came from behind to earn a draw with St. Kierans last Wednesday evening in Askeaton. The final score was Glin 2-5, St. Kierans 0-11. On Friday evening, we were defeated by a very good Drom-Broadford team in Newcastle West. Though beaten, it was great to see so many new young faces who are very capable at this grade
Best for Glin over both games were Micheál Sheehy, Karl O’Sullivan, Eoin Woulfe and Brendan Flanagan. Please keep an eye on the fixtures section of the Observer for our remaining group game in the next few weeks.

Senior County Teams
Hard luck to the Limerick senior teams who exited the championship last weekend. Well done to our own Pádraig Scanlon who played for the senior footballers in their Round 2B Qualifier against Cork at Semple Stadium on Saturday.
