The Late Phil Giles, R.I.P.: A mass will be celebrated in memory of the late Phil Giles on Wednesday evening next, the 17th of January, at 7.00 pm in Glin Church. Phil was a prominent member of the Glin Men’s Shed and Glin Development and members of both organisations and his many friends in Glin were shocked and saddened to hear about his tragic death. A native of Belfast, Phil Giles spent many hours doing voluntary work in the community and he will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. His family have expressed their gratitude to all those who helped in the immediate aftermath of his death and the many floral tributes, cards and messages brought great comfort to his family.
