St. Fergus National School First Holy Communion Class: Congratulations to the boys & girls of St. Fergus’ National School who received their First Holy Communion today, Saturday 5th May. A special Thank you to Fr. Crawford for his help and time preparing for the Sacrament.

Glin Library: will be closed on and from Wednesday NIGHT May 2nd until Thursday 10th May at 11am when normal hours will resume.

CÚL CAMP: Glin/Gerald Griffin’s Cúl Camp will take place in Glin’s GAA pitch this summer from July 30 to August 3. Places can be booked online from early March.
Dog Fouling: Anyone walking the path to Tarbert with their dog/dogs can you PLEASE CLEAN UP after they do their business. The path is a disgrace with dog fouling. Bags available FREE from PEG at the LIBRARY.
Clothes Recycling: The next clothing collection for our two Primary Schools takes place on the 15th June so start collecting any RE-WEARABLE clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen and donate to our two schools. Thanking you.
THE PARENTS ASSOCIATION OF ST FERGUS NS: wish to congratulate the 9 boys and 4 girls of second class who made their First Holy Communion yesterday with the guidance of their teacher Mr Lehane. “May God’s blessings, love, and grace be showered upon you on this joyous occasion” Congratulations to you all on your First Holy Communion.
THE REFERENDUM TO: repeal or retain the Eighth Amendment is now less than a month away and if you’re not registered to vote, you don’t have long left to fix that. The deadline is May 8 to have your forms stamped by your local garda station and returned to the relevant local authority. Postal vote deadline has now passed and only online applications are accepted. You can
find out if you’re registered to vote using Contact your local council if your details do not appear but you believe you are registered to vote.
GAA TRAINING: U8s and U10s training every Wednesday evening in Ballyhaill GAA pitch from 7pm. Training for U12s takes place on Tuesday evenings in Glin GAA pitch from 6.30pm.
Glin Baby & Toddler Group: meets every Thursday in Ceol Corbraí Hall from 10am. Entry costs €3 per family and refreshments are provided for adults and children. Up to date information available on Facebook. Open during TERM TIME ONLY
