Glin Tidy Towns has commenced weekly clean-up. Meeting point will be the Town Park on Saturday mornings at 11am and an evening to be confirmed. We are looking for volunteers from the wider community of Glin of all age groups, who would like to get involved in this initiative. The aim is that all areas of Glin would be tackled, so volunteers can concentrate on their own area and their contribution can have an impact on the appearance of where they live. Please consider coming along and giving just one hour a week, as it is the work of the whole community, coming together, that will make the difference. If you have any gardening equipment, spades, wheelbarrow etc., and a vis vest, please bring these along with you. It was Henry Ford who said, “Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success!
