GLIN TIDY TOWNS: The National Tidy Towns judging begins from the weekend. Please help GLIN looking clean and tidy.
Glin Tidy Towns has commenced weekly clean-up. Meeting point will be the Town Park. There is a choice of two evenings per week to give a little of your time – you can volunteer on Wednesday or Friday evenings from 7pm to 8pm – just 1 hour of your time in your week could make such a difference to our community. Please come along and bring a friend! Any gardening tools you may have would be very beneficial.
GLIN COMMUNITY GAMES: Good luck to all in Glin who are participating in this weekend’s Athletics Finals which take place in St Pauls in Mungret on June 23 and 24.
Ballyguiltenane National School Introductory Morning: for the new Junior Infants (new school year 2018/2019) will take place on Tuesday next the 26th June from 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: From: 20.00hrs on Friday, June 22 to 05.00hrs on Monday, June 25. Foynes to Askeaton. N69 from its junction with R521 at Foynes to Junction with R518 at Askeaton. Traffic from Tarbert will be diverted via R521 at Foynes to Ardagh, R523 & N21 to Rathkeale and R518 to Askeaton. Traffic from Limerick will be diverted via R518 at Askeaton to Rathkeale, N21 to Reens, R523 to Ardagh and R521 to Foynes.

SWIMMING GLIN PIER: Swimming Lessons and Water Safety Weeks. July week: Registration at Glin Pier on Sunday, July 8 at 12 noon. Week starts Monday, July 9 and finishes on 13/14th July. August week: Registration at Glin Pier on Sunday, August 12 at 12 noon. Week starts Monday, July 13 and finishes on 17/18 August.

CÚL CAMP: Glin/Gerald Griffin’s Cúl Camp will take place in Glin’s GAA pitch this summer from July 30 to August 3.
GAA TRAINING: U8s and U10s training every Wednesday evening in Ballyhaill GAA pitch from 7pm. Training for U12s takes place on Tuesday evenings in Glin GAA pitch from 6.30pm.
GLIN TRIATHLON: takes place on September 1. Registration is now open and you can register on Triathlon Ireland’s website.
Glin Baby & Toddler Group: meets every Thursday in Ceol Corbraí Hall from 10am. Entry costs €3 per family and refreshments are provided for adults and children. Up to date information available on Facebook. Open during TERM TIME ONLY
GLIN TENNIS COURT: is looking great. The grass is cut, the lines are painted, the seats are pristine and Glin Tennis Club are glad to announce the arrival of a new NET. So we are all set for a new season and members old and new are welcome. A very competitive family rate is available. Keep an eye on our FB page and for further updates. An evening of ‘fun’ tennis is planned for Monday, June 25 at 7.30pm
