Antisocial behavior at Glin Town Park

VANDALISM AT GLIN PARK AND PIER.

Glin Development and Tidy Towns erected 6 signs ‘Managed for Wildlife ‘ and ‘Please don’t litter’ around the Glin Park and pier road areas over the past two summers. These signs have in recent times been vandalised on more than one occasion. The signs have been pulled off their poles and damaged and then tossed into the tide and into ditches. It is a sad day when we have to witness such mindless vandalism in our beautiful home town of Glin. This is just one example of other incidents which have been taking place in Glin. It was through local fundraising and the generosity of Glin residents that allowed us to purchase those signs. If these acts of mindless and stupid behavior aren’t put to a stop now it will continue to escalate😡
PLEASE REPORT ANY SIGHTINGS OF VANDALISM TO ANY MEMBER OF GLIN DEVELOPMENT OR OUR LOCAL GARDA.
