St. Fergus’ National School Fashion Show Fundraiser: St. Fergus’ National School will be hosting a fashion show on Wednesday 13th March in aid of much needed funds towards our proposed set down/parking area for the school. Tickets €15 each are available in local shops and from the school office. If you would like to support this event and you aren’t free to go on the night, you can put your name and telephone number on the back of the ticket and you will be entered into the Door Prize Draw on the night. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Glin Bord na nOg: will be having their club registration on this Sunday Feb 10th at 12pm (after mass) in the clubhouse. It is important that all children are registered for the year ahead. Training at the different age groups will be starting soon. All are welcome. €20 for 1st child, €15 for 2nd etc.
GLIN CASTLE HOSTS THE RARE AND SPECIAL PLANT FAIR: on Sunday, May 12 from 10am – 5pm. Adults €6 Kids free (U’12) The Rare and Special Plant Fair was established in 2001 with the assistance of Bord Bia, to ensure that the gardening public has an opportunity to purchase rare and difficult to source plants, while at the same time visit a garden of note that they may not otherwise visit. Over 40 stalls of rare and unusual plants. Expert advice from the growers. Food and refreshment stalls. Free plant, creche and porter service available. Glin Castle tours available. Free car parking.
GLIN BABY & TODDLER GROUP: Thursday morning from 10am to noon. €3 per family. Refreshments provided for adults and children. We look forward to seeing you.

HELP WANTED: The GB Rovers AGM took place on Tuesday, February 5 in Conways Bar, Glin. The numbers of children involved is on the increase and we hope to run a few extra teams this year. Of course this means that we will need some extra numbers and so, as always, we are looking to get more parents involved in helping out with teams. Please don’t assume someone else will do this, to help give all children as much opportunity to play as possible, we will need more help this year. It doesn’t take that much to get involved and your help is needed. If you would like to get involved please contact a coach or any member of Glin Rovers.
