Cailín Bán: Glin Development, the Abha Bhán and Glin Players and all the production team of the Cailín Bán play would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who came and supported this event. It was a resounding success, and one that will be remembered for years to come! All proceeds from the play go to the proposed Knight of Glin Interpretive and Tourist Centre, a facility that will promote tourism in the region.  A special word of thanks to the FitzGerald, West, Flanagan and Ryan Families of Glin Castle who so generously accommodated Glin Development Association in hosting the production.  Also our thanks to the Men’s Shed for their help over the two nights of the play.

Glin Playground:  Glin Development are delighted that work has begun this week on the extension to Glin Playground.  Two extra pieces of equipment, a wheelchair friendly carousel and a castle style multi-purpose play piece will complement the existing equipment which has been there for over 10 years.  We thank West Limerick Resources for their very generous grant towards the playground extension.  However a large amount of matching funding came from Glin Development Association and we would like to thank all those who have supported the many fundraising events that we had over the last few years.

Glin Tri: Thank you to everyone who participated in, supported, volunteered or helped in any way in Saturdays extremely successful Triathlon. The conditions were ideal with calm waters and sunny skies. We hope to see you all again next year for another great event.
