ICA Change of Meeting: please note that there is a change for the ICA Meeting now being held at 7.30pm in Cloverfield Day Care Centre on Friday, December 6. There will be a Christmas flower arrangement demonstration on the night. We look forward to seeing you.
Congratulations: to GB Rovers Player Lee Mulvihill who has been voted U12 Division 2 School boys Player of the Year. Lee currently trains with the FAI emerging talent Programme and also Captains the U12 Desmond League Team.
Christmas Craft Fair: will be held in Ceol Corbraí Community Hall, Glin on Saturday next the 7th December at 11.00 a.m.
Glin Baby & Toddler Group: A great turnout again last week! Thanks everyone. We will be back on Friday November 29. The schools are off on Friday, December 6 so we will not be open as we run in conjunction with the school calender. We will be back again on Friday, December 13. Ceol Corbrai Community Hall, 10am to 12 noon. €3 per family. Refreshments provided.
Glin Old Fair Day: The much anticipated traditional Glin Old Fair Day takes place this year on Saturday, December 7. Like previous years, the craft fair will take place in Ceol Corbrai Community Hall with 20/22 table spots available to purchase for €20 ahead. Christmas Wreath Making: Takes place at Glin Castle December 8th from 2pm-5pm. Contact claire@glin-Castle.com for further info.
Willow Christmas Decoration Classes: Come and learn how to make your very own Christmas Willow Decorations. Two classes available on November 30 in O’Shaughnessys Bar; Willow Stars from 10am to 1pm and Willow Angels from 2pm to 5pm. Cost of each class €35 including material fee and hot drinks. Estuary Rollers present ‘A Christmas Tractor Run’ on Sunday 15th December. The decorated Christmas tractors expect to pass through Glin at approx 5-5.30pm. All proceeds in aid of Milford Care Centre. If you would like to enter your tractor please arrive in Abbeyfeale Mart at 1.30pm. Tractors aim to leave Abbeyfeale at 3.30pm and will pass through Athea, Moyvane, Tarbert, Glin and Knockdown.
