Charitable Donations: Thank you for your generous contribution to the parish throughout the years.  We are very grateful for your continuing support.  If your contribution was over €250 in 2019 it enables the parish to avail of the Charity Refund Scheme.  If you have signed a CHY previously, it applies for 5 years only so your previous form may be out of date.  The form once completed and signed, enables the parish to claim a refund on donations which you have given to us.  This Refund Scheme is available to all registered charitable organisations and with your kind permission we can partake in it.  This will have no affect on your finances and all information is strictly confidential.  If you wish to participate, the forms are available from Fr. Crawford.  Once completed you may hand them into the Sacristy or into Fr. Crawford’s house.  Thanking you.

Glin ICA: The monthly meeting of the Glin ICA will be held in Cloverfield Day Care Centre on Friday 14th February at 7.30 p.m.

Glin Defibrillator Group: will run a CFR training for new and renewal candidates on Saturday next the 15th February in Conways Function Room from 10.15 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (Break for Lunch).  The cost of the course is €30.   If your two year certificate has expired, bring mask and book, cost is €25.

Preview Night for Clonmel Coursing 2020: Glin Coursing Club will be presenting their Annual Preview of The Clonmel Coursing in Barrett’s Bar on: Wednesday 12th February 2020 at 8pm. The Panellists on the night will be: James O Connor (Radio Kerry). Browne Bookmakers. Sean Doyle (Ennis). Ger Walshe (Galway). Finger Food will be provided on the night. 

Glin Rovers: Old Trafford Draw 2020. Tickets for the Annual Draw are on sale.  This year up for grabs are 2 Match Tickets for Man Utd V Man City at Old Trafford (provisional date 7/3/20) plus €300 cash. Tickets are €5 each or 3 for €10

Glin Baby & Toddler Group: Opens on Friday mornings (during term time) in Ceol Corbraí Community Hall from 10am to 12 noon.  €3 per family contribution.  

Congratulations: Congratulations to former Limerick FC player Karl O’Sullivan who has signed with Finn Harps. Best of luck Karl.

Glin GAA Bord na nOg Strength & Conditioning classes continue on Saturdays at CH Gym: U12-14 start at 12 noon and the older groups at 12.45 sharp.

Church Gate Collection: St Fergus NS Parents Association takes place Saturday, 15th February and Sunday, 16th February.  Your support is greatly appreciated.   

GB Rovers are recruiting: calling all U6 children who are attending Glin, Loughill and Ballyhahill schools.  GB Rovers are recruiting their newest team and would love to see some new faces.  Come along for a night of fun and a kick about with friends.  Contact Elaine for details 087 965 0623

Local Cinema Night: Ballyhahill Parish Hall Committee are hosting a cinema night on Saturday,  February 15.   Come and watch the Princess Bride which starts at 8pm.  Everyone welcome.

The Catholic Church marks the annual day of prayer for the sick on 11 February, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
