Charitable Donations: Thank you for your generous contribution to the parish throughout the years.  We are very grateful for your continuing support.  If your contribution was over €250 in 2019 it enables the parish to avail of the Charity Refund Scheme.  If you have signed a CHY previously, it applies for 5 years only so your previous form may be out of date.  The form once completed and signed, enables the parish to claim a refund on donations which you have given to us.  This Refund Scheme is available to all registered charitable organisations and with your kind permission we can partake in it.  This will have no affect on your finances and all information is strictly confidential.  If you wish to participate, the forms are available from Fr. Crawford.  Once completed you may hand them into the Sacristy or into Fr. Crawford’s house.  Thanking you.

Ballyguiltenane National School Enrolment 2020:  Enrolment packs are available from the school on request or from the school office between 2pm and 3pm each day.  Parents/Guardians are welcome to contact the school on (068) 34545 to arrange a visit to discuss enrolment at your convenience.

Ballyguiltenane National School: Church Gate Collection will take place on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd February 2020.  Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Day Retreat: The annual day retreat to the Retreat Centre Ardfert is on Sunday 1st March 2020.  Anybody wishing to attend the retreat can give names to Sheila Culhane.

Church Gate Collection:  The collection on Saturday & Sunday 8th & 9th February for St. Vincent’s Centre Lisnagry, Limerick came to €463.30.  Thanks to everybody who helped.

St. Fergus’ National School: Enrolment forms for the new school year 2020/2021 are now available from the school office or Glin Pre-school.  For further information, please contact Geraldine in the school office Tuesday to Friday on 068-34344.

Glin Library: will be closed on this Tuesday 18th February.

Awards Night: Well done to all the boys and girls at GB Rovers on a successful Awards Night held last Friday evening in Ceol Corbraí Hall.  What a fantastic turn out of children and adults alike.  Great to see so much young talent, skill and interest in the sport.  Thank you to all the parents that kindly brought food to the event. Your help as always is very much appreciated.

St. Fergus’ National School:  Parents Association Annual Church Gate Collection takes place this weekend, the 15th & 16th February.  Thanking you for your continued support.

Glin Rovers: Old Trafford Draw 2020. Tickets for the Annual Draw are on sale.  This year up for grabs are 2 Match Tickets for Man Utd V Man City at Old Trafford (provisional date 7/3/20) plus €300 cash. Tickets are €5 each or 3 for €10

Glin GAA Bord na nOg Strength & Conditioning classes continue on Saturdays at CH Gym: U12-14 start at 12 noon and the older groups at 12.45 sharp.

Mid Spring Break with Limerick Federation ICA: Wishing for a Mid – Spring Break, well why not join Limerick Federation ICA Tour Monday April 13 to Thursday April 16, 2020. The tour consists of a booked visit on Tuesday 14 to Bru na Boinne sites, Newgrange and Knowth, with access inside the Chamber at Newgrange The cost of the visit is €10 per person. In the afternoon there will be a booked walking tour of the historic town of Drogheda, details of cost later. Wednesday April15 a guided tour of Malahide Castle and Gardens has been arranged for 11.30am at a cost of €9.65 per person. This is followed by a visit to Malahide Village, which boast of marina, award winning bars, restaurants, and boutiques.  On Thursday April 16 a guided tour of the Japanese Gardens and National Stud has been arranged, starting at 12 noon, cost per person is €10, this is followed by a visit to Newbridge Silverware, and shopping in Whitewater Shopping Centre.  Accommodation will be provided by ICA College, An Grianan, Termonfeckin, Co. Louth. The cost for the three days is €200 per person, the accommodation consists of Bed and Breakfast, with dinner in the evening on Tuesday and Wednesday, single or shared rooms are available.
