Prayer for Pentecost:
Christ has no Body
Now on earth but yours,
No Hands but yours
No Feet but yours.
Yours are the Eyes through which
Christ’s Compassion is to look out to the world.
Yours are the Feet by which he is
To go about doing Good.
And Yours are the Hands
By which he is to Bless us now. (St. Teresa of Avila).
Message from Fr. Crawford: Bishop Brendan Leahy will celebrate the Mass for Pentecost Sunday in St. John’s Cathedral (next Sunday) at 12.00 noon. All families who have children preparing for Confirmation this year in particular, are invited to tune in to this Mass – live streaming – St Johns Cathedral Limerick. There will be a special emphasis and focus on Confirmation with a Ceremony of Light. So please tune in with your family.
The Irish Catholic Newspapers: Since the re-opening of the Parish Church the Irish Catholic Papers are now available in the Church. A special thanks to Dolores McNamara, and Paddy Hogan who facilitated the sale of the newspapers in their shops while the Church was closed.
Congratulations: to Kim & Thomas Mulvihill and to Katrina Wallace & Edmund Horan who welcomed baby boys into their families.
