Glin Development and Glin Castle have been selected to take part in an initiative run by Limerick City and County Council to take part in a ‘greening’ initiative for St. Patricks Day.

The Corbry Tree will turn green on the days running up to,and including, St. Patrick’s Day!

‘St Patrick’s Festival 2021 will be marked virtually with an online programme celebrating Limerick’s ‘Edge andEmbrace’, highlighting our rich heritage, including music, food, architecture, history and celebrating our diaspora internationally.
While we cannot gather on the streets for the Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival this year, we are reimagining how to bring the essence of St Patrick’s Festival to life for people across the City and County.

With this in mind, Limerick Tourism, Culture and Arts Department are working in partnership with Failte Ireland to light up buildings across Limerick City and County from Saturday 13 th to Saturday 20 th March 2021 inclusive, to celebrate St Patrick’s Day’. (Limerick City & County Council Festival and Events).
