Glin GAA: Glin GAA Club is holding a scrap collection.  Final day for donating is Saturday 12th June.  All types of steel, galvanised sleeting, copper piping etc.  No gas cylinders.  Anyone wishing to drop off any scrap at the GAA grounds can do so on Wednesdays from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.  Anyone wishing to have scrap collected please contact James on 0872311156 or Jack on 0872289841.  All funds raised will go towards the development of the GAA grounds, which will benefit the youth of our parish.

First Holy Communion:  regrettably, Confirmation/First Communion ceremonies planned for July 1-4 will have to be rescheduled as a result of government guidelines. We have been advised by the Taoiseach’s office that no First Holy Communions or Confirmations can take place until after July 5th. We appreciate this will come as a great disappointment and inconvenience for many – children, parents, teachers and clergy but Bishop Leahy believes that we have no option but to follow this public health advice.

Newsletter:  Please email Geraldine on office@stfergusns.ie if you would like anything published in the weekly newsletter.
