Bride O’Connor: It was a very sad day in Glin when we heard of the passing of Bride O’Connor (née Mulvihill) Bride’s Boutique & Hair Studio. Bride was a pillar of our community and a woman known by so many up and down the country.  Bride could be found in her hair studio and boutique with a hair brush in one hand and an outfit in the other.  Her love of hair and fashion was like no other – she really was a style icon!   Always glamorous and always there to greet you with a warm welcoming smile as you walked through the door.  The parishioners of Glin will miss you and your warm loving character.  Church Street will not be the same without you.  Condolences to her husband Eddie, children Seamus, Maura and Stephanie, grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Glin library opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 10am -1pm and 2pm-5pm.

Glin ICA Guild: are glad to announce that the weekly Whist Drives will resume on Tuesday 26th October at 8.30pm in Cloverfield Day Care Centre.  All are welcome.
