Eucharistic Adoration: Weekly Adoration on Fridays from 5pm to 9pm until further notice.

Deaths: Sympathy is extended to the family of Henry Windle late of Glenagragra & Birmingham who died recently. Sympathy is extended to the family of John O Connor, Killeaney, Glin who died during the week.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Seán Adams (Adams Garage), The Avenue, Glin who died on the 10th February.

The following is the schedule for the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Morning Mass at 10.00 a.m.

Saturdays: Evening Mass at 7.00 p.m.

Sundays: Morning Mass at 11.00 a.m.

These weekly arrangements are subject to change.

Glin ICA: Whist Drives resume on the 15th February in Cloverfield Daycare Centre.

St. Fergus National School: clothing collection will take place on Mon 4th April. Further information on dates to drop off bags will be issued in the coming weeks. Please keep all your unwanted clothes for the collection. Thanking you for your continued support.

Sacrament of Confirmation: will take place on Friday 11th March 2022. (Covid Permitting)

First Holy Communion: will take place on Saturday 30th April 2022. (Covid Permitting)

Glin Church: Lovely candles available to buy at Glin church. Can be used for graves or at home. Burning time of over 60 hours.

St. Fergus National School: Enrolment Forms for the school year 2022/2023 are now available from the school office.  Please telephone 068-34344.  Places available also in our ASD Class.

GB Rovers FC: The Referee Department have confirmed five referee beginner courses for February. Online courses consist of 9 hours of self-directed learning that the participants complete in their own time, this is then followed by 6-hours on Zoom, spread over two nights with an FAI Referee Instructor.

Darkness into Light Tarbert: Save the Date – Saturday 7th May. Our neighbours in Tarbert are delighted to be part of the Darkness into Light (DIL) Walk for Pieta House, proudly sponsored by Electric Ireland, for 2022. Tarbert has been selected as one of eight (8) locations in Kerry and is the only new route approved by Pieta for this year in Ireland. The walk will take place at 4.15am and takes in the beautiful island road walk, a distance of 5kms. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Glin GAA Split the Bucket: takes place every Monday night. Don’t miss out, Play before 7pm. Play now at Your support means a lot to us!

Taste Restaurant will be closed on Wednesdays until the end of February. It will be open as normal all other days.  Sorry for any inconvenience caused

GoFundMe: *** CLOSING SUNDAY 6th FEB***The GoFund Me page set up to raise money for the CCTVs and repairs to Glin Town Park will officially close on the evening of Sunday 6th Feb. All collection tins from pubs and shops will be collected and added to the total raised. The intention was to try and raise €1,500 within the month – but in under 20 hrs that target was met and more! The money literally rolled in and didn’t stop! So far 192 online donations have been made bringing the total raised to a staggering €9,228 – with the donation tins yet to be collected and counted!  Do you think we can hit the €10,000 mark? Please continue to like and share and help meet the final goal – thank you to EVERYONE that has kindly donated to date.
