The following is the schedule for the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Morning Mass at 10.00 a.m.

Saturdays: Evening Mass at 7.00 p.m.

Sundays: Morning Mass at 11.00 a.m.

Mass Cards: Signed Mass Cards for the deceased are available at Glin Church.  Please enquire from our Sacristan Michael after any of the Masses. 

Glin Church: Lovely candles available to buy at Glin church. Can be used for graves or at home. Burning time of over 60 hours.

Ukraine Collection; Thank you to everyone who donated to the church collection last weekend in aid of the Ukraine relief effort.  Over €1,600 was raised.  Wonderful generosity.

First Holy Communion: will take place on Saturday 30th April 2022.

St. Fergus National School: clothing collection will take place on Mon 4th April.  Our thanks to Glin GAA for all the help with the collection and allowing the school to us the GAA Clubhouse to store the bags of clothes. Thanking you all for your continued support.

Congratulations: to Sheagh Mulvihill who has been asked to attend the FAI Centre of Excellence in Tralee. Sheagh is following on in the footsteps of his talented brother Cillian, and of course his younger sister Honor, who was also chosen for the FAI Ladies Centre of Excellence. Keep up the good work.

St. Fergus National School Parents Council: Save the date – April 9th.  No April showers planned for this fun-filled FUNdraiser…

 -St. Fergus NS Glin Parents Council is delighted to announce that it is organising a sponsored walk and coffee morning to raise funds to support school activities.  The event takes place on Saturday April 9th with a sponsored walk starting at the Knights Walk, Glin at 11am. Everyone is encouraged to walk on the day and ask their friends and family to sponsor them.   For anyone that can’t do the walk you can still lend your support by calling in to Ceol Corbrai where the Parents Council will be running a coffee morning, full of tasty treats.  All baking donations gratefully appreciated and can be dropped to Ceol Corbrai from 9:30a.m. on Saturday 9th April.  You can also make a monetary donation through the following link: http://gofund.me/33a98f50.  Thanking you in advance for your support.

Glin Development Association: and local schools will be involved in a Native Tree Planting Ceremony at St. Pauls on Thursday morning next the 7th April.  Catherine Fitzgerald, Glin Castle along with some pupils from our two local schools will plant some native trees including Oaks.

Tarbert Darkness into light: Darkness into light comes to Tarbert – with its inspirational message of HOPE – Walking from the Tarbert Comprehensive School to Tarbert Island and back

We are holding a Community Registration day at the Community Centre Tarbert on Saturday, 9th April from 10 am to 4pm. Come and meet the team members, find out more about the Darkness into Light Walk and register for the event.  Alternatively you can register online on www.darknessintolight.ie

The event takes place on Saturday 7th May at 4.15 am.
