The following is the schedule for the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Morning Mass at 10.00 a.m.

Saturdays: Evening Mass at 7.00 p.m.

Sundays: Morning Mass at 11.00 a.m.

These weekly arrangements are subject to change.

Baptisms & Weddings: To book a Baptism or a Wedding please contact Fr. Curtin on (086) 3697735 or Pastoral Area Secretary Ann Dore, Foynes on (069) 65561 during office hours: Wednesday: 10a.m. to 1p.m., & 2p.m to 5p.m.  Thursday & Friday: 9a.m. to 1p.m. & 2p.m. to 5p.m.

Mass Cards: Signed Mass Cards for the deceased are available at Glin Church.  Please enquire from our Sacristan Michael after any of the Masses. 

Glin Church: Lovely candles available to buy at Glin church. Can be used for graves or at home. Burning time of over 60 hours.

Anniversary Masses: (to be booked through the Pastoral Area Secretary Ann Dore, see details above)

Saturday 21st May: Martin McNamara late of Killeaney.

All Ireland Rosary Rally: An all-Ireland Rosary Rally, will take place on Saturday, June 4th at Knock Shrine DV.  It will consist of, A Talk, Stations of the Cross, The Rosary and Holy Mass, starting at 1,30 pm.

The main celebrant will be Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo, Papal Nuncio to Ireland,

The Homilist, Bishop Michael Duignan.  There will be a Rosary Talk by Fr, Marius O’ Reilly.

First Holy Communion: congratulations to the pupils of our two primary schools who received their First Holy Communion last Saturday.

Glin Baby & Toddler Group – is reopening!!! This is wonderful news for the parents, small children and community.  Please come along this Friday morning from 10am at Ceol Corbrai Hall. Contribution of €3 per family. The return of the group is so important for stay at home parents, guardians and grandparents and is a wonderful outlet to meet others with children of similar ages and enjoy a chat. Please make sure to spread the good news. 

Glin Tennis Club: Tennis practice at the Glin Tennis court every Monday from 2.15pm. Registration for the season is now open. Call Marie 086869182. Adult €20, Student €10 and family €40

Congratulations: an outstanding performance Sunday for the U13 Limerick Desmond boys, staff and GB Rovers FC Boys Dylan Buckley, Sheagh Mulvihill and Luke Costello. They brought home the Silverware against West Cork A in the U13 Munster Interleague Shield Final held in Carrrigaline.  Well done to all involved.

Congratulations: to Donie Lyons on winning €3,000 in the Club Limerick Draw.

Congratulations: to Jack Hutchinson who won two gold and two bronze at last weekend Kingdom Invitational Gala, representing Askeaton Swimming Club. All the swimmers did the club proud! Well done to Jack, his club mates, and the coaching team.

Congratulations: What an evening of celebration for GB Rovers FC U12 Division 2 League winners Wednesday last!! Thanks to the managers for their dedication to the team and to the children for never giving less than 100% on the pitch. Lots of laughter and memories made Wednesday evening. An amazing speech by Captain Dan Healy topped off by Niall O’Connor of the Limerick Desmond League delivering the most important cup in the country to the team. Well done all.
