CLÁR Funding 2022 – Glin Development Association is pleased to announce that grant aid funding of €12,591.45 has been awarded by CLÁR. Glin Development put together a lengthy submission and application for funding in April last to replace the existing exercise equipment at Glin Town Park. There is a matched funding element of 10% of total cost of the project. Glin Development relies on fundraising activities to ensure we are in a position to be able to apply for such projects. Thank you to everyone who continually supports Glin Developments recent fundraising activities. The existing exercise machines are no longer fit for purpose and are in situ for many years. Glin Development is very pleased that our bid for this very much needed funding has been approved. CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd Riachtanais) or Funding for Small-Scale Rural Projects is a targeted investment programme which provides funding for small-scale – infrastructural projects in rural areas that have suffered the greatest levels of population decline. We look forward to having new exercise equipment in Glin Town Park for all to use and enjoy!

Glin Playground: will be closed next Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th September for repair works. Please email any notices you would like to have in the newsletter to: office@stfergusns.ie
