Coffee Morning for Deel Animal Rescue: On behalf of Deel Animal Rescue can we say we were just blown away by people’s generosity at our Coffee morning last Sunday.  Our final count was €2,640.  We are just so grateful to each and everyone that donated and we can assure ye that every cent will go to this wonderful charity.

Praying the Rosary: Most parishioners are aware that the Rosary is recited approx. half an hour, on most days before the Masses. In her messages, especially at Fatima, Medjugorje, and many other places, Our Lady has urged the faithful to pray the Rosary daily. St. Padre Pio has referred to it as the “Weapon of our Times”, so it would please the Blessed Virgin very much, if more people, especially children, took up her invitation, and joined the small Parish group in praying the Rosary. It is prayed for the conversion of Russia, Ireland, and the whole world, for the end of wars, protection from natural disasters, and that the promised, and, long-for reign of peace would soon be ushered in.

St. Fergus National School: Upcoming clothing collection on Monday 24th April – please keep any unwanted clothing, footwear etc for the collection.  Further details nearer the date.  Thank you to all who support this school fundraiser.

Please email any notices you would like to have in the newsletter to: office@stfergusns.ie

IT’S NO JOKE! SUPPORT THIS APRIL FOOLS DAY FUNDRAISER.
St. Fergus NS Glin Parents Council is delighted to announce that it will be organising a sponsored walk and coffee morning to raise funds to support school activities.  The event takes place on Saturday April 1st with a sponsored walk starting at the Knights Walk, Glin at 11am. Everyone, both young and old, is encouraged to walk on the day and ask their friends and family to sponsor them using the sponsorship cards that have been sent home in your child’s bag.  For anyone that can’t do the walk you can still lend your support by donating baked goods for the coffee morning that’s happening at 11am in Ceol Corbraí.
Joanne Stackpoole, Chairperson, St. Fergus NS Parents Council, Glin, is calling on parents and local businesses to get involved and lend their support.  You can support the fundraiser by:
–    donating online through the Go Fund Me page:  LINK: https://gofund.me/4d0e6e46

  • donating a raffle prize, giving some company sponsorship, coming along on the 1st  for coffee and cake!  What a lovely way to spend the first day of April.  For further details about the Glin gathering, keep an eye on local papers, social media and the parish newsletter.
