Congratulations: Exciting news once again emerges from GB Rovers FC. Victoria Barrett, who only joined the club at the start of the season, has earned a coveted spot as goalkeeper for the U13 Limerick Desmond team. In a surprising twist, despite playing right back for the club, Victoria’s experience as a GAA goalkeeper over the past few years inspired her to try out for the keeper position—and it paid off brilliantly. Victoria’s composure under pressure and reliable passing make her a key asset to any team. Popular among her teammates, there’s no doubt she’ll fit seamlessly into the Limerick Desmond squad. The club extends its best wishes to Victoria for the season ahead!
