St Fergus National School: Jack and Jill Power Hour: We have been completely overwhelmed by the generosity shown towards our Today FM Jack and Jill Power Hour fundraiser. At the time of writing, our school community has raised an incredible €1,360 – which is €1,000 over our target. This total has surpassed all our expectations. Every €20 raised can help provide one hour of specialist in-home nursing care for a child with highly complex medical needs, while also offering vital respite to their family.
A sincere thank you to every family member, friend and supporter who donated or shared our fundraising page. Donations of every size combined to make a very real difference. For anyone who would still like to contribute, the link remains open: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/deirdrekennelly11 . As always, donating is entirely voluntary and I will close the page on Monday.

Glin Tidy Towns are looking for a TUS participant to join our team and help keep Glin looking its best.
The work will include: Brushing streets and paths, Light weeding and general upkeep, Litter picking and
Helping with the general maintenance of our village
Applicants must be aged 18 or over. Eighteen-year olds do not need to satisfy the requirement of being on Jobseeker’s for a year to apply. The TUS payment is significantly higher than the reduced Jobseeker’s payment normally payable to many 18–24 year olds, making this a worthwhile opportunity for someone looking to gain work experience while earning more. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and would like to play a part in keeping Glin clean, tidy and welcoming. Location: Glin, Glin Tidy Towns. For further information or to express an interest, please contact Paula Ruane, TUS Supervisor, West Limerick Resources @ 087 2958773
Dates to remember: First Holy Communion in the parish: Friday 28th May at 12:30pm.
