In the case of an emergency, call the number, give your location and a defibrillator will be brought to you by a trained responder. Please share with your family and friends within Glin.

Craft Gathering February Sessions: calling all crafters! Bring your projects, share ideas, and enjoy a morning of creativity. Wednesday, February 19th, 10:30 am at Glin Library

Singing with Bernie Date Change Due to unforeseen circumstances, our much-loved Singing with Bernie session will return a week later. Mark your calendars, Tuesday, February 18th at 11:30 am at Glin Library.

Glin Library Opening Hours: for the month of February; Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am – 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.

Podiatry and Footcare: Next appointment at Cloverfield, Glin, is Friday 21st February. This service is available to all people of all ages in Glin and surrounding towns and villages. Fully Insured, SCPI and CORU Registered Podiatrist. All queries must be made directly with Rebecca – please leave a message or text your name to 087 168 9097 to make an appointment for Podiatry and Footcare.

Thursday Smart Phone classes will continue in 2025 at Cloverfield Glin Homes Daycare. For those who attended classes before Christmas, the tutors from Limerick & Clare Education & Training Board will contact you with details of the remaining classes which will be completed in the coming weeks. For those who did not register for the winter classes, there will be another set of classes later in the spring with registration details to follow. These classes are open to people of all ages and ability in Glin and surrounding towns and villages. Everyone welcome

Sacrament of Confirmation: Congratulations to the 5th & 6th Class pupils of Ballyguiltenane National School who made their Confirmation last Wednesday.

Ballyguiltenane National School: is currently accepting enrolment for the coming academic year 2025-2026. Please contact the school office on 068-34545 or by emailing office@ballyguiltenanens.ie. The Enrolment Form is also available to download from our school’s website www.ballyguiltenanens.ie  

Card Games: The Wednesday morning card games take place in Cloverfield Glin Homes at 10.30am. These gatherings for card games, chat, newspapers, tea, coffee and biscuits are a very enjoyable way to pass a Wednesday morning. Everyone is welcome to come along and there’s always room at the tables for anyone to join in at the card games. Or just sit and read the newspaper with a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.

St Fergus National School: Enrolment for the new school year 2025/2026 is now open.  Enrolment application forms are available from Glin Montessori Pre School and St. Fergus National School Office.  For further information, please email office@stfergusns.ie or telephone Geraldine in the school office on 068-34344.
