Glin Charity Swim: This year’s annual Glin Charity Swim was to raise funds for the Autism Classes at St. Fergus National School, Glin. Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously at the Glin Garden Trail Fundraising Event which was held last July. Milford Care Centre have acknowledged the contribution and have thanked everyone for their generosity. It was an incredible amount to raise, E2,354, and will contribute towards the care of patients and their families at every stage of their journey. Míle Buíochas duit….
Congratulations: to St. Fergus National School 6th Class pupil Jamie Fitzgerald who started full back last Tuesday for West Limerick Comann na mBunscol. His team won and will play the final net week in the Gaelic Grounds. Well done Jamie and team. A wonderful achievement.
Congratulations to St. Fergus NS pupils Ayla Reidy and Gráinne Mulvihill who both played on The West Cumann na mBunscol today in Mick Neville Park. A superb honour for these young ladies, their school, clubs and families.

Glin GAA AGM for 2026 will take place in the club house on Friday November 21st at 8pm. We are constantly on the look out for new members to help in the running of our club. Be it from training to administration duties or anything in between. So, if you are interested in helping with the ever-increasing workload associated with the running of a GAA club your help will be greatly appreciated, just make yourself known to a member or come along to our AGM. Any nominations or proposals for next year should be made in writing to Ger Sheehan before Friday 14th of November. Looking forward to seeing as many members as possible on the night.
