St Fergus NS would like to take a moment to wish our Credit Union Quiz team- Niall, Emily, JC and Sadhbh – the very best of luck as they prepare for their upcoming All-Ireland Final this Sunday, in the RDS in Dublin. This is a wonderful achievement for the pupils involved and we are incredibly proud of how they have represented St. Fergus’ NS at every stage of the competition to date. The pupils’ achievement is particularly special as it is the first time that St. Fergus’ NS has reached this level. We know the whole school community will join us in cheering them on and wishing them every success.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Cois Sionna Credit Union for their generosity and support. Their sponsorship of team fleeces and goodie bags for the team, along with the very welcome visit of the ice-cream van for all of the children, brought great excitement and enjoyment to the school last Monday. It was a lovely way to “soft launch” the term and to mark this special occasion and celebrate the team’s success with the entire school community.
Carmel Buckley Reflexology: Improved Sleep and Recovery
Sleep plays a vital role in regulating mood, emotional resilience, and overall mental health.
By calming the nervous system and reducing stress, reflexology can support improved sleep quality. Research in complementary therapies has shown that relaxation treatments can help individuals fall asleep more easily and experience deeper rest.
Better sleep allows the brain and body to recover, which is essential for managing anxiety and low mood.
